Personalization Panel

Personalization Panel by winreview.ru is a free, lightweight utility that restores the missing Personalization options to Windows editions that don’t include them by default, such as Windows 7 Starter and Home Basic. It provides a familiar, easy-to-use interface so you can customize your desktop without hacks or risky system modifications.

Key features:

• Brings back the full Personalization page found in higher Windows editions
• Lets you change the desktop background (including slideshows), screen saver, window colors, and sound scheme
• Supports applying and managing themes (.theme and .themepack files)
• Adds convenient access from the desktop context menu and Control Panel
• Portable and fast, with no system file replacements

Notes:

• Designed primarily for Windows 7 Starter and Home Basic; other editions already include these features
• Does not enable features your edition or hardware doesn’t support (for example, Aero Glass effects)
• May require administrator privileges for some changes

With Personalization Panel, you can make your Windows desktop look and feel the way you want—quickly, safely, and without upgrading your edition of Windows.
